Desde o mês de janeiro, a AESC mantém atenção plena à questão do coronavírus. A partir das unidades de saúde – Hospital Mãe de Deus, Hospital Santa Ana, Hospital Santa Luzia e Hospital Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes –, lideranças e infectologistas, em especial, compartilham conhecimentos com outros médicos, enfermeiros, técnicos de enfermagem e demais profissionais da área de assistência, além de esclarecerem pacientes, familiares, visitantes e a população por meio de entrevistas, vídeos e textos divulgados nos canais digitais do Hospital Mãe de Deus e na imprensa.
As orientações e recomendações alcançam, por meio de estratégias e plataformas de comunicação internas, as demais unidades de negócio da Associação Educadora São Carlos, com o propósito de nivelar as informações para os mais de quatro mil profissionais e público atendido.
No Hospital Mãe de Deus, foi estabelecido o Comitê Covid-19, com integrantes de diferentes áreas, que se reúne diariamente, visando acompanhar e monitorar todas as situações envolvendo o vírus, para que sejam tomadas decisões assertivas com foco na saúde dos pacientes e funcionários, como mudanças de fluxo no atendimento, restrições de visitas, entre outros.
Nos hospitais Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes (HNSN), Santa Luzia (HSL) e Santa Ana (HSA), desde o princípio do coronavírus também foram adotados procedimentos preventivos conforme o protocolo estabelecido pelo Ministério da Saúde. No dia 13 de março, ocorreu uma reunião com o Secretário Municipal de Saúde de Torres e o prefeito em exercício para reforçar medidas de prevenção, estratégias e orientações junto ao HNSN. Em Capão da Canoa, no dia 16 de março, a Direção da Área Médica representou o HSL no encontro com a Secretaria de Saúde e o Departamento de Epidemiologia do município. Na oportunidade, foi gravado um vídeo de esclarecimento à população local, divulgado nos canais oficiais da prefeitura local, além de entrevista para rádio.
CAPS AD
Nos centros de Atenção Psicossocial Álcool e Drogas (CAPS AD), também foi adotado um plano de contingência. No CAPS AD IV Centro Céu Aberto foram suspensas, por tempo indeterminado, todas as visitas domiciliares e agendas externas dos profissionais de saúde. Todos os ingressos obedecem criteriosa avaliação da equipe de crise. Estão mantidos somente os atendimentos dos quadros graves. Os atendimentos individuais serão realizados no pátio interno. Para esse e para os CAPS AD III, são mantidas orientações atualizadas conforme preconização do Ministério da Saúde e Secretaria Municipal da Saúde de Porto Alegre.
Colégios
Em relação aos colégios mantidos pela AESC (São Carlos, em Caxias do Sul; Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, em Farroupilha; e São Carlos, em Santa Vitória do Palmar), houve a decisão de suspender as aulas entre os dias 18 de março e 5 de abril. Antes disso, os professores realizaram diversas atividades pedagógicas com foco em ampliar a consciência dos alunos sobre o tema.
Orientações gerais
A AESC se mantém alerta e recorda a responsabilidade de todos em conter a expansão do coronavírus por meio de atitudes simples, mas indispensáveis, como:
- Higienizar permanentemente as mãos com álcool gel 70% ou água e sabão.
- Evitar tocar no rosto (olhos, boca e nariz sem que as mãos estejam higienizadas).
- Manter distância de dois metros de outras pessoas.
- Evitar aglomerações.
- Não compartilhar itens de uso pessoal (talheres, pratos, copos, etc).
- Manter o ambiente de trabalho limpo.
- Ficar em casa se apresentar sintomas de gripe.
Uma medida que está em execução é a organização do home office para todos os funcionários que possam realizar suas funções em casa, cumprindo carga horária normal. Essa ação evita a circulação desnecessária de pessoas por ambientes que possam representar risco de contaminação.
