O Governo do Estado, por meio da Secretaria da Saúde (SES), e a Organização Internacional para Migrações (OIM), da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU), lançam em conjunto nesta quinta-feira (28) uma cartilha multilíngue para facilitar a comunicação entre profissionais de saúde e migrantes de diferentes nacionalidades que moram no Rio Grande do Sul.
O evento será transmitido pelo canal do Youtube da OIM a partir das 15h. Além do português, a cartilha traduz para os idiomas crioulo haitiano, espanhol, francês, e wolof frases básicas para o atendimento de migrantes internacionais em unidades de saúde. Entre as frases traduzidas pelo documento, estão questões básicas do acolhimento em postos de saúde e agrega as mais variadas reclamações que podem levar alguém a buscar assistência, tais como dores de cabeça, dores abdominais, vômitos, síndromes gripais e outros.
Essa cartilha foi desenvolvida pela Escola de Saúde Pública (ESP/RS) em parceria com o Departamento de Atenção Primária e Políticas de Saúde (Dapps), a OIM, a Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos), Universidade de Caxias do Sul (UCS), Faculdade São Francisco de Assis e o Centro de Atendimento ao Migrante (CAM), mantido pela Associação Educadora São Carlos. A escolha dos idiomas levou em consideração a elevada concentração de haitianos, senegaleses e venezuelanos no território gaúcho.
