A Secretaria Estadual da Saúde (SES) e a Organização Internacional para Migrações (OIM), da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU), lançaram nesta quinta-feira (28/1) a Cartilha para Acolhimento de Migrantes Internacionais em Unidades de Saúde. O documento reúne frases básicas e específicas usadas nos serviços de saúde, traduzidas para os idiomas crioulo haitiano, espanhol, francês, e wolof. O objetivo é facilitar a comunicação e o acolhimento aos pacientes que não falam português, em especial para os migrantes haitianos, senegaleses e venezuelanos que vivem no território gaúcho.
Entre as frases traduzidas pela cartilha, estão questões básicas do acolhimento em postos de saúde e as mais variadas reclamações que podem levar alguém a buscar assistência, tais como dores de cabeça, dores abdominais, vômitos, síndromes gripais e outros. A versão impressa será distribuída para todas as regiões do Estado.
A cartilha foi desenvolvida em conjunto pela Escola de Saúde Pública (ESP/RS), pelo Departamento de Atenção Primária e Políticas de Saúde (Dapps), da SES, a OIM, a Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos), Universidade de Caxias do Sul (UCS), a Faculdade São Francisco de Assis e o Centro de Atendimento ao Migrante (CAM), mantido pela Associação Educadora São Carlos (AESC).
Segundo a diretora do CAM, Irmã Celsa Zucco, “O CAM marca presença há 36 anos junto aos migrantes que escolheram a Serra Gaúcha para construírem suas vidas e em nome da AESC e é muito grato a todos os profissionais e entidades que foram incansáveis na construção coletiva da cartilha, que fará diferença no trabalho dos profissionais da saúde e principalmente na vida dos migrantes”.
Adriano de Almeida, advogado do CAM, demostrou profunda gratidão a todos os envolvidos nesta entrega: “Nós, do CAM, estamos felizes e agradecidos aos parceiros que somam forças para construir e levar alento aos migrantes!”.
Conforme os dados do Serviço Único de Saúde (SUS), o número de imigrantes no RS chega a 50.156 pessoas, espalhadas por 464 municípios do Estado. São pessoas vindas de países como Haiti, Uruguai, Argentina, Senegal e Venezuela, com idade, majoritariamente, entre 18 e 39 anos.
