A gestão do fluxo de atendimento e os agendamentos para regularização da situação de imigrantes no Brasil ganharão nova dinâmica a partir da parceria estabelecida entre o Centro de Atendimento ao Migrante (CAM) e a Polícia Federal (PF), por meio de sua delegacia regional em Caxias do Sul. O acordo entre as entidades foi firmado na manhã desta quarta-feira, 17 de fevereiro, em reunião na sede da PF na Serra, com a participação de representante do Ministério Público Federal (MPF). As principais beneficiadas serão as mais de 80 pessoas atendidas semanalmente pelo serviço mantido pela Associação Educadora São Carlos (AESC).

No turno da tarde, o delegado-chefe da PF, Claudino Sebaldo Alves de Oliveira, esteve na sede do CAM para conhecer pessoalmente a estrutura e a equipe, sendo recebido pela diretora Irmã Celsa Zucco e o advogado de Migrações Adriano Pistorelo. Alves de Oliveira teve acesso ao Plano de Trabalho 2021 e o Relatório de Atividades 2020, documentos que levou para estudo e compreensão de todas as etapas do serviço promovido pelo Centro. Ao final, o visitante se disse muito satisfeito com a passagem pelo local, nesta que pode ser considerada a primeira visita formal da Polícia Federal ao CAM, desde o início de suas atividades, em 1984.
