Há alguns anos, em 2005, quando cursava Serviço Social na Universidade de Caxias do Sul (UCS), Danara Agnol viu um anúncio de divulgação de vagas para estágios no mural do DCE. Uma delas era para o Centro de Cuidados Nossa Senhora da Paz (que na época era uma das unidades de Assistência Social da AESC), ela então decidiu enviar seu currículo para o processo seletivo. “Me recordo como se fosse hoje, bem jovem, sendo entrevista pela Irmã Celina Lessa Nazario, meus olhos brilhavam a cada palavra que ela dizia sobre o compromisso e cuidado da população, em especial crianças e adolescentes, filhos de migrantes de uma periferia marcada pelo abandono, pobreza e violência”, recorda. Danara lembra que sempre teve um grande desejo de traçar uma trajetória que pudesse a aproximar de outras realidades, levando cuidados às pessoas que mais necessitassem.
Ela permaneceu por dois anos como estagiária no Centro de Cuidados Nossa Senhora da Paz. Em meados de 2008, recebeu o convite para participar de um processo interno para vaga de coordenadora do Centro Educativo e de Formação Profissional Novo Horizonte, um novo desafio em gestão de serviços. “Lá eu amadureci profissionalmente, com compromisso das entregas e os resultados pactuados na execução das parcerias com o poder público e a missão institucional”, explica.
Em 2009, então formada, passou a exercer a função de assistente social, em Caxias. Em 2010, trabalhou com a Irmã Celsa Zucco na Filantropia, atuando na seleção dos bolsistas do Colégio São Carlos e Santa Vitória do Palmar. Em 2011, foi transferida para Porto Alegre para trabalhar no Programa Comunitário da Vila Gaúcha, promovida para coordenação de serviço. Atualmente, coordena o CAPS AD IV Centro Céu Aberto, o primeiro nessa modalidade no Brasil.
“Todos esses momentos me marcaram muito, sem dúvida! Eu sou as coisas que me inspiram! Sem essas oportunidades, entre tantas, não teria chegado até aqui. Meu agradecimento em especial às Irmãs Missionárias de São Carlos Borromeo – Scalabrinianas, que me acolheram ainda jovem e cheia de sonhos, para trabalhar em seus projetos. Tive a sorte de estar no mundo ao mesmo tempo de mulheres que me fazem transcender e sentir a humanidade e as pessoas do mundo. Como diria Belchior ‘Amar e mudar as coisas. Me interessa mais’, cita, orgulhosa.
E pra finalizar, faz um agradecimento a pessoas bem especiais: “Aos moradores das comunidades que atuei, pelo aprendizado constante na miudeza e poesia do cotidiano que me mostraram que antes de ser um excelente profissional, é preciso ser um bom ser humano”.
