Comunicado 02 coronavírus – Hospital Santa Ana

A Gestão do Hospital Santa Ana (HSA), mantido pela Associação Educadora São Carlos (AESC), comunica, de forma a manter sua conduta de transparência, que a instituição passou por um surto de coronavírus, diagnosticado pela Coordenadoria Geral de Vigilância em Saúde de Porto Alegre. Ao todo, 34 profissionais – de um total de 500 em toda a instituição – tiveram a confirmação para covid-19, após a realização dos testes. Outros ainda estão passando por testagem, mas sem que isso tenha comprometido o funcionamento regular da unidade de saúde. Aqueles sintomáticos têm sido afastados, como medida de precaução. Do total de 69 afastados, nem todos são da equipe assistencial.

 

Medida de segurança

Como forma de proteção aos pacientes e aos demais funcionários, estão sendo seguidas as medidas solicitadas pela Vigilância Sanitária, além das que o Serviço Especializado em Saúde e Medicina do Trabalho do HSA tem em protocolo previamente estabelecido. Até o dia 3 de junho, os 34 profissionais positivos para covid-19 estavam em isolamento domiciliar. Um, permanece internado em hospital da Capital. Desse total, cinco já retornaram trabalho, nos dias 4 e 5 de junho, e mais sete devem voltar até domingo (7 de junho), por já terem cumprido o período de quarentena. Também ocorre, em paralelo, processo de seleção para novos funcionários. Novas contratações estão confirmadas para a próxima semana.

 

Sobre os pacientes

Entre os pacientes, desde o início da pandemia, houve cinco casos confirmados, em 29 de maio e 5 de junho. Porém, seguindo o Plano de Contingência da Secretaria Estadual da Saúde, foram (ou estão sendo) encaminhados para outra unidade hospitalar de Porto Alegre, visto que o Hospital Santa Ana não recebe pacientes covid-19. Hoje, dia 5 de junho, o HSA está com cinco casos suspeitos em unidade de internação, em área isolada, e dois confirmados (aguardando condições para deslocamento para outro hospital). Ação preventiva

A AESC provê equipamentos de proteção individual a todos os profissionais do HSA e demais unidades de saúde da mantenedora, além de promover capacitação permanente e orientação para o uso adequado desses recursos. Também mantém um Comitê Covid-19 para atenção à pandemia. Todos os fluxos e protocolos são seguidos e rotineiramente compartilhados com os profissionais.
